Records Management 3

 

Course Overview:

Records Management 3 looks at how to operate and sustain a records management programme.  Topics covered include:

  • information governance
  • dealing with risk
  • records management policy development
  • embedding good records management practice
  • records migration and dealing with legacy records
  • digital continuity - managing electronic records over time

Delegates who attend the Classroom sessions are encouraged to share their own experiences and ask questions throughout the day.

This course, taken together with Records Management 1 and Records Management 2, provides a thorough understanding of the entirety of the Records Management process.

This course can be used as credit towards gaining the Practitioner Certificate in Records Management.
