Candidates who hold the ISEB qualification in data protection can benefit from a shorter route to gaining the Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection.

ISEB holders’ exemption

Holders of the ISEB qualification are exempt from the requirement to attend the Compulsory Courses on the Programme. Such candidates can obtain the Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection by attending one of the three Elective Courses, and passing the Examination.

The fee

£750 plus VAT (fully inclusive of tuition, materials and the Examination)

Application

If you are an ISEB holder, you can apply for the Programme by using the standard application form (online or PDF), stating that you are exempt from attending the Compulsory Courses. You must subsequently send PDP a certified copy of your ISEB certificate, plus a photocopy or scanned copy of your driving licence or passport (the copy certificate will be held on file until you have passed the Examination; the copy identity document will be destroyed as soon as identity is established). Once your application has been processed, you will be sent the written materials for the four Compulsory Courses and your Candidate Number for the Examination.
